Our Philosophy
At San Marin Montessori, we believe every child is born with a natural desire to learn, explore and grow with confidence. Inspire by the research and teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori, our philosophy is centered on respect for the child, nurturing independence, and allowing children the freedom to grow within, loving limits.
Our classroom feels more like a home away from home than a traditional preschool, carefully prepared with beautiful, hands-on Montessori and Waldorf materials, our environment invites children to explore at their own pace, build concentration, and develop confidence through meaningful fun work.
We understand that early childhood is a precious time. During these important years, children experience unique windows of learning-moments where there are especially ready to absorb new skills and understanding. At San Marin Montessori, we thoughtfully guide each child through these moments, offering the right tools and support to help them become capable, independent, and self-assured.
